Impresa B4T is leading the redevelopment of the well-known Palazzo Venezia, one of the most prestigious historic buildings in Milan near the Duomo. It was a real challenge for the whole team, who had to plan the work meticulously, carefully selecting the interventions and constantly supervising the process. The scope of work was comprehensive: from electrical, mechanical and specialist systems to the partial demolition of the supporting structure and the complete renovation of the interior finishes. Particular care has been given to the historic external façade, where work was carried out under the supervision of the Fine Arts authority. The building will house the new “Hotel Cordusio”, with 73 rooms and a reception hall inside the dome. The refurbishment of the inner courtyard, currently used as a car park, will allow the creation of an atrium with a breakfast room, while a rooftop restaurant with a panoramic terrace and a sky bar will be created, also accessible from the adjacent new shopping mall.
